A Fast Paced Arcade Driving Challenge
Overview
Speed Mobile is a high-speed endless driver designed for mobile and WebGL, inspired by the classic Speed Halo custom game from 2007 Halo 3. Players must navigate down an endless slope, dodging AI-controlled cars while progressively gaining speed and increasing the challenge. With each completed loop, the player's car accelerates, AI spawn rates increase, and the difficulty ramps up.

The goal?
Survive as long as possible and rack up the highest score.
MY WORK and EXTERNAL ASSETS
This is a solely developed game with a solid base and brought to prototype phase within 3 weeks. Handling all programming, level design, effects and UI/UX. To streamline production, I incorporated some free assets (vehicle models, graffiti sprites, sound effects), allowing me to focus on core gameplay mechanics and player experience. However, all core systems, interactions, and features were programmed completely from scratch.
Features
Dynamic Speed Progression – Every loop increases speed up to 120 and spawns more AI cars.
Power-ups & Strategy – Players can collect and store up to two power-ups, invincibility, slow-motion, force push, and durability restoration to help them survive.
Skill-Based Gameplay – Players must dodge, react, and adapt to survive longer and set new high scores.
Fair & Balanced Mechanics – A 2-second invincibility on respawn prevents unfair deaths, ensuring an engaging experience.
Challenges/Achievements – Players have 50+ achievements to complete and challenge themselves to accomplish.

Creative Highlights
- Implemented XOR encryption to protect the data collected. (high score, completed challenges, achievements) This will make sure the data will not be tampered with on any device.
- A dynamic physics system and calculated camera system for fluid driving with precise fast pace collision mechanics and smooth dynamic camera following.
- A range of power-ups that players can strategically deploy to survive longer and maximize overall score. The interface includes two power-up slots and the player is allowed to choose.
- An escalating difficulty curve to keep players engaged and challenges their response time and strategic skill.
- Implemented heavy optimization for consistent framerates on all mobile devises while keeping the details needed for a fun, memorable experience.
